Man Tries to Hide from Deputies in Creal Springs, Found with Meth & Drug Paraphernalia

CREAL SPRINGS – A man has been cited for Methamphetamine Possession, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Violation of Pretrial Release following an incident with Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies around 4:35 Tuesday afternoon in the 300 block of Magnesia in Creal Springs.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies saw Richard D. Colbroth walking in that area. When Colbroth saw the deputies, he tried to hide behind a tree. He had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

Colbroth was apprehended and taken into custody without further incident.

A search of Colbroth discovered two bags of meth and drug paraphernalia on his person.

He was then cited and taken to the Williamson County Jail.
