MARION – Two people were taken to the Williamson County Jail after Methamphetamine, a Controlled Substance, Drug Paraphernalia, and a firearm were found in a stolen U-Haul they were in around I-57 and The Hill Avenue in Marion early Friday morning.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says deputies stopped the driver identified as Jonathan B. Eldridge of West Frankfort and his passenger, Jennifer L. Mayo of Aurora, Illinois.
Eldridge was cited for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Mayo was cited for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of a Firearm without FOID, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
