NORRIS CITY – Norris City has experienced some sick raccoons and skunks in the village.
If you see a sick animal, please call 618-378-3611 so the village may take appropriate action.
According to State Health Department officials, it is Distemper. Sick animals show signs of discharge from nose/eyes, drooling, emaciated, rough hair coat and wandering aimlessly or being disoriented and out in daylight hours.
