MARION – Another new hotel is coming to Marion.
The City of Marion says a 106-room Tru by Hilton will be built between the Mach 1 gas station and Buffalo Wild Wings on The Hill Avenue.
Dirt work is currently going on at the site. It is set to open next spring.
Construction continues on the new TownePlace Suites by Marriott being built at the intersection of Walton Way and Halfway Road in Marion. It is expected to open in a few months.
A new Hampton Inn is also in the works. It will be part of the Oasis Fieldhouse project near the former Illinois Star Centre Mall. The former Hampton Inn recently closed.
