MARION – The Friends of the Marion Carnegie Library will be having their first book sale of the year Friday and Saturday in the Marion Carnegie Library McCoskey Room, located on the bottom floor of the library.
The sale will feature $1 hardcover books and $0.25 paperback books. During the sale on Saturday, there will be a “Fill a Bag for $5” sale from 2 to 4 p.m. in which shoppers can fill a bag full of books of their choosing to purchase for $5.
The Friends of the Marion Carnegie Library is a non-profit organization that helps aid the library and its mission. The Friends support projects and programs at the library through fundraising efforts, including book sales like this one.
