CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police are looking for a man involved in a battery incident earlier this month in the 600 block of South Illinois Avenue.
Police say an arrest warrant has been issued for 21-year-old Chanton L. Lee of Elizabethtown for Mob Action and Aggravated Battery.
Police responded to the area just after 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4 and found the victim on the ground, unconscious with serious injuries. The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale for treatment.
Police arrested 19-year-old James M. Shannahan of Carbondale for Mob Action and Aggravated Battery. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
A 17-year-old juvenile from Carbondale was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Aggravated Battery. He was lodged in a juvenile detention facility.
