MARION – The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says Sergio R. Mendoza-Davis, the subject of last week’s Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Wednesday, has been captured.

Shortly after being featured, Mendoza-Davis changed his social media profile picture to his mugshot, inquired about receiving a reward for his capture, and began profiting from his wanted status by selling t-shirts with his mugshot on them.
On Friday, Williamson County Sheriff’s Office undercover agents assisted by the Carbondale Strategic Response Unit met Mendoza-Davis to give him a deposit for two tee shirts.
Unfortunately for Mendoza-Davis that transaction was interrupted by his arrest for an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
Mendoza-Davis was transported to and remanded into the custody of the Williamson County Jail.
