MARION – The fire chief for the Williamson County Fire Protection District has lost his battle with cancer.
According to a post on the fire protection district’s Facebook page, Chief Jeremy Norris passionately served the citizens of Williamson County for 35 years and has served as fire chief since 2010.
Norris was instrumental in building the fire department to everything it is today, through state of the art equipment, new apparatus, and better training opportunities.
Funeral arrangements for Norris have not been announced.
