CARBONDALE – An Elizabethtown man wanted on a Jackson County arrest warrant for Mob Action and Aggravated Battery was arrested Monday.
According to Carbondale Police, officers responded to a battery report in the 600 block of South Illinois Avenue just after 11:30 p.m. on March 4.
Twenty-one-year-old Chanton L. Lee was identified as a suspect and police detectives obtained an warrant for his arrest.
Lee is lodged in the Jackson County Jail awaiting a detention hearing.
Online court records show Lee will have a preliminary hearing on April 22 in Jackson County Court.
