MCLEANSBORO – Hamilton Memorial Hospital District has lifted its temporary visitor restrictions.
Normal visitor hours and guidelines have now been restored.
Effective immediately, Hamilton Memorial Hospital will revert to its standard visitor hours:
• Emergency Department Visitor Access: Visitors are welcome at any time for patients in the Emergency Department.
• Inpatient Unit Visiting Hours: Daily visiting hours are from 8 a.m to 8 p.m., seven days a week, including holidays.
Standard Hamilton Memorial Hospital guidelines will be observed, including:
• All visitors must check in at the front desk and follow verbal or posted instructions.
• If outside of front desk hours, visitors must check in at the nurses’ station prior to entering a patient room.
• Visitors who has symptoms illness (infection, fever, cold, vomiting, etc.) or do not feel well should refrain from visiting.
• HMHD is a tobacco-free campus. Smoking, chewing tobacco, and e-cigarettes are not allowed anywhere on hospital district property.
