METROPOLIS – A Carbondale man wanted on an Alexander County warrant for possessing a stolen vehicle was arrested on the warrant and for Criminal Trespass to State Supported Property Friday at the Spence Apartments in Metropolis.
Metropolis Police say they were assisting the Department of Children and Family Services and an apartment when they saw 46-year-old Ezell Jones leaving the apartment. Police knew Izell had been previously trespassed from housing as well as being wanted on the Alexander County warrant.
Jones was lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
