METROPOLIS – A Metropolis man was booked into the Massac County Detention Center Saturday charged with Cannabis Trafficking, Driving while Suspended, and Expired Registration after being stopped by Metropolis Police at 18th and Nevelle for expired registration.
Police say the driver, 31-year-old Ryan J. Kline, had a suspended driver’s license and was taken into custody. His vehicle was towed away.
A search of the vehicle revealed signs of drug trafficking. A large amount of paraphernalia and cannabis was located in a backpack.
