MARION – I-57 between exits 30 and 45 in Williamson and Union counties will close to all traffic tonight at 7 for emergency guardrail and pavement repairs according to IDOT.
A posted detour will direct southbound I-57 traffic to eastbound I-24, just south of Marion.
Northbound I-57 traffic will be directed to Illinois 146 at exit 30.
Repairs should be finished and all lanes should be back open by 7 a.m. Friday.
You should take other routes to avoid delays.
