CARBONDALE – Three people were taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and released following a two-vehicle crash around 8:30 Thursday night in the 1700 block of North Illinois Avenue in Carbondale.
According to Carbondale Police, the driver of one of the vehicles, 37-year-old Samuel W. Brown of Carbondale, was showing signs of impairment. He was arrested for Aggravated DUI of Alcohol and Failure to Yield while Turning Left. He was released on citations pending a court appearance.
