MT. VERNON – The City of Mt. Vernon says long-awaited road improvements for Illinois 15/Broadway from 27th Street east to the downtown split at the railroad tracks are coming.
The Illinois Department of Transportation will be letting the project for these repairs on April 25.
While the exact start date for construction may vary, the project is expected to be completed by this fall.
