
Cody Johnson and Carrie Underwood have reached the #1 at country radio with their first duet, “I’m Gonna Love You” – marking the fourth No. 1 single of Johnson’s career and the 29th for Underwood.
The song, written by Chris Stevens, Kelly Archer, and Travis Denning, has garnered 200 million global streams and appears on Johnson’s Leather Deluxe album.
Cody reacted to the news on his socials, writing: “I’m incredibly grateful to country radio for making “I’m Gonna Love You” my fourth #1 single! Johnson is gearing up to resume his U.S. tour on April 25 in Lafayette, LA; while Underwood can see seen in her first season as a judge on ABC’s American Idol.
