SESSER – Clatie Mae Bursich, 93, of Sesser, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Aviston Countryside Manor in Aviston, IL.
She was born on October 7, 1931, in Sesser, IL, to Earl and Emma (Eubanks) Beck. She married John Bursich Jr. on May 16, 1959, and he preceded her in death on March 11, 2015.
She is survived by her two sons, John (Ronell) Bursich III of New Baden, IL and Jeff (Melissa) Bursich of Glen Carbon, IL; grandchildren, Samantha Jane Bursich, Sarah Bursich, Zachary (Lisa Manrique) Bursich and Kathryn (Stuart) Schiber.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, Dixie Lee Spotanski, Connie Diann Maddox, Earline Welsh and Marcella Rone; and one brother, Burl Coffel.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 12 p.m. at the Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser with Rev. Jim Slone officiating, Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser.
