CARMI – Two men are facing various charges including cannabis possession after being stopped by Carmi Police on Oak and 6th Street Wednesday night.
Police say 29-year-old Austin A. Jonas of Dahlgren was arrested for Driving While License Suspended, Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle by Driver, and for a Hamilton County warrant for failure to appear. He was released on Notice to Appear citations. He was also released from jail due to the conditions of the warrant.
His passenger, 19-year-old Ethan K. Jonas of Carmi, was arrested for Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle by a Passenger and released on a Notice to Appear citation. He will be in White County Court on May 20.
