MURPHYSBORO – The Jackson County Health Department will host a Disposal Day Saturday, from 8 a.m. to noon, at 415 Health Department Rd. in Murphysboro.
You will be able to dispose of your unwanted prescription medication safely free of charge and have your confidential documents shredded. Sharps will also be allowed to be disposed.
The health department will also host a healthy food drive during the event.
