CARMI – The death of a two-year-old child is under investigation in White County.
According to Illinois State Police, just before 1 Friday afternoon, ISP was requested by the White County Sheriff’s Office to assist in the death investigation.
The Child Death Investigative Task Force was subsequently activated.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.
