BENTON – The City of Benton Tuesday announced where city offices will be located for the foreseeable future due to some duct work issues that are being addressed at City Hall.
The Benton Water Department will accept new services only at Benton Municipal Airport.
If you need to pay your water bill, it can be paid at US Bank, State Bank of Whittington, People’s National Bank, Legence Bank, and Heartland Office Supply. You can also pay online through the Paystar link on the city’s webpage at bentonil.com. Bills can be mailed to P.O. Box 640 in Benton, IL 62812. They can also be dropped off at City Hall in the drop box located at 1403 S. Main on the southwest corner of the building.
The Code Enforcement Officer is currently located at the Benton Municipal Airport.
The Mayor’s Office, City Clerk, City Treasurer, and Zoning Administrator/Economic Development Director are currently located in the basement of the Campbell Building in Courtroom A.
