ANNA – A semi crash was reported on I-57 in Union County Friday.
According to Illinois State Police, it happened around 10:20 a.m. on southbound I-57 just north of the Anna rest area.
The semi with trailer ran off the roadway, coming to a stop in the tree line. The driver was transported to an area hospital.
Traffic was temporarily shut down while the tow truck pulled the crashed truck out of the trees.
ISP says there is no further information.
