Arrowleaf Launches New Volunteer Program to Empower Community Engagement

VIENNA – Arrowleaf is proud to introduce its new volunteer program, offering community members various ways to get involved, from supporting the Food Pantry to participating in the Golden Companions Pen Pal initiative.

Interested individuals can now easily apply online making it more convenient than ever to give back.

“Volunteerism is not only vital to strengthening our community, but it also directly aligns with Arrowleaf’s mission to provide support and services where they are needed most,” said Sherrie L. Crabb, CEO of Arrowleaf. “Volunteers help us bridge the gap in resources and ensure our mission continues to thrive.”

Arrowleaf serves the southern seven counties of Illinois, reaching thousands of individuals and families each year through programs that support mental health, employment services, and housing initiatives.

“The more people we can reach, the better our community will be for everyone who lives and works here,” Crabb added.

Arrowleaf is dedicated to fostering healthier communities by addressing critical needs, and this new volunteer initiative will enhance that reach.

Volunteers will receive comprehensive training and support throughout their service.
