GOREVILLE – Illinois State Police responded to milepost 38 on southbound I-57 near Goreville around 2:30 Sunday afternoon after getting a report about a car that had stopped on the side of the shoulder too far off the roadway causing it to go down a ravine.
No injuries were reported. The car wasn’t damaged.
