Carbondale Reminds Residents of Bus and Bike Routes as Veo E-Scooters Are Put Away for the Winter

CARBONDALE – Since Veo scooters have already begun hibernating for the winter, the City of Carbondale reminds residents of other transportation opportunities you can take advantage of at this time.

JAX Mass Transit (formerly known as Jackson County Mass Transit) has several bus routes that run through Carbondale, 7 days a week, all year round, with fare rates of $2.

For exact routes and info on how to ride, visit https://ridejax.com/services/routes/.

Carbondale has a wide, diverse infrastructure of bike routes throughout the city that is continuously growing. The city is also lucky to have a few locally owned bike shops. Although biking can be a challenge at times through the winter, the city is fortunate to have many days in Carbondale where it is still a viable mode of transportation throughout the winter season.
