Mt. Vernon Holding Open House Regarding Future of Parks and Recreation

MT. VERNON – The City of Mt. Vernon invites you to an open house to learn about the Parks Master Plan and Indoor Recreation Facility Market Study. This is your chance to review the draft recommendations, ask questions, and share your feedback.

It will be held Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Rolland Lewis Community Building at Veterans Memorial Park on South 27th Street.

The city will cover project highlights and community input received, feasibility of an indoor recreation facility, park needs and improvement recommendations, and opportunities to provide public feedback.

The open house will include displays with project information, a brief presentation, and time for questions and discussion. Your input is essential to shaping the future of Mt. Vernon Parks and Recreation.
