Brennan Marlow

MARION – Brennan Marlow, age 21, of Marion, IL, passed away much too soon on January 15, 2025, due to a traffic accident while on his way to work Wednesday morning.

Brennan was born on March 4, 2003, to the happy couple and doting parents, Jason and Monica (Burns) Marlow, in Mt. Vernon, IL.

Brennan’s smile was truly infectious. He wore it everywhere he went. He loved life to the fullest. His gentle spirit was like a bright and warm ember on a cold winter’s night. He loved spending time with family and friends. His favorite vacations were with his family to Branson or anywhere the sand and saltwater meet. His free spirit and kind heart will be sorely missed by everyone that knew him.

Brennan is survived by his best friend and life partner, Olivia Kelly, and soon to be baby girl; his mother, Monica Malow; his father, Jason Marlow; his three siblings, brothers, Jaylen and Kobe; and sister, Emma; grandparents, Larry and Debbie Marlow and Harold Burns. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. 

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Janis Burns; and cousin, Hunter Marlow. 

Visitation for Brennan will be Monday, January 20, 2025, from 6-8 p.m., at the Summersville Baptist Church, Summersville, IL. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 11 a.m., at the Summersville Baptist Church, with doors opening at 10 a.m. Pastor Don Verhines will officiate. Burial will follow at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City.

The Harre Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
