HARRISBURG – A preliminary hearing has been set for Feb. 10 for a Harrisburg man who is facing several sex crime charges that include sexual abuse and child pornography.
According to online court records, 55-year-old Sherman L. Owen was arrested Tuesday and appeared in court. He is facing one count of child pornography with a victim under the age of 13 years old, a Class X felony. He is also charged with nine additional felony counts including aggravated criminal sexual abuse, criminal sexual assault, and multiple counts of possession of child pornography. A plea was not entered.
Owen was a founding member and part owner of Bulldog Media.
Bulldog Media released a statement Tuesday evening saying they acknowledged Owen’s legal matters and that Owen is no longer affiliated with the organization.
