HERRIN – Herrin firefighters were called out around 3:15 Wednesday morning to a possible commercial structure fire at Chuck’s BBQ.
When fire crews arrived, they saw smoke in the building. They forced their way inside and found a small fire in the kitchen area. It was put out with an extinguisher.
The business suffered minimum damage and is temporarily closed for repairs.
