CARMI – A Carmi man allegedly trespassed and started a fire in the 700 block of Burrell Street just after noon Monday.
Carmi Police say officers responded to the address and saw the fire in the backyard.
Police arrested 40-year-old Jarrod M. Talley for Criminal Damage to Property and Criminal Trespass to Real Property.
Talley was taken to the White County Jail and later released with two Notice to Appear citations.
