METROPOLIS – A Metropolis man was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and released on a notice to appear after Metropolis Police Sunday received 911 calls of a male yelling and armed with a knife in the 200 block of 5th Street.
Police responded and saw 33-year-old Jesse R. Owens in the 100 block yelling toward Metropolis Street. He possessed two knives.
The caller said he was attempting to leave for work when Owens started yelling and threatening him.
