Three Arrested for Having Stolen Vehicle, Drugs in Williamson County

MARION – Three people were recently arrested for possessing a stolen vehicle, having meth and drug paraphernalia among other charges after deputies found a stolen pickup truck from Nashville parked at Huck’s near the intersection of Illinois 148 and 13 near Marion.

Deputies saw the driver, Jeremy L. Weir, along with Lucille A. Odam and Kelsi N. Wingo walk out of the convenience store and get into the vehicle. The truck was stopped and deputies found meth, drug paraphernalia and a key fob for a Ford Mustang. Deputies were looking for that car reported stolen from Carbondale. They found the car on Brittany Lane in Marion with a bag inside containing dozens of vehicle titles and other documents believed stolen from a Carbondale automotive dealership. Both stolen vehicles were towed to a secure lot and processed.

Deputies also learned that Weir stole gas from a business in the 1800 block of North Court Street after he was caught on camera taking the fuel and driving the stolen truck.
