MURPHYSBORO – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says a missing/endangered elderly man missing since Monday morning was found safe early Tuesday morning.
The sheriff’s office did not say where 81-year-old Michael Covell was found.
Covell was last seen leaving in his car from his home in Murphysboro around 9 a.m. Monday.
Officials say Covell suffers from a medical condition and may have been experiencing memory impairment.
