MT. VERNON – Mt. Vernon residents who are cleaning up their property from the recent storms can have their bulk items and yard waste picked up by Republic Services as part of their regular trash service.
To schedule a bulk item pick-up, call 1-800-634-0215. Calls must be made by Wednesday to schedule a Friday pick-up. If call volume is high, your pick-up may be scheduled the following week.
Yard waste such as branches, leaves and small limbs will be collected as part of your regular service.
You will need to follow guidelines set for proper preparation and placement.
