CARMI – The Carmi-White County Jefferson Attendance Center, in partnership with Huck’s, will hold its 5K Color Run Saturday in Carmi to benefit students at the center.
It gets underway at 8:30 a.m. and will affect Sycamore Street from 4th Street to County Road 1000 East and all intersecting streets and Stewart Street from 4th Street to County Road 1000 East and all intersecting streets according to Carmi Police. All streets intersecting the run route will be blocked starting at 8:30 a.m. until it’s safe to allow normal traffic to resume.
Carmi Police, Police Auxiliary and JAC volunteers will man all intersections for safety during the event. You should adjust your travel plans to avoid the run route.
