MCLEANSBORO – McLeansboro’s City Wide Cleanup is set for May 28-31.
You will be able to drop off your items at 312 W. Market Place Wednesday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7:45 a.m. to noon. No after hours dumping will be allowed.
Cleanup items will not include tires, batteries, air conditioners, furnaces, computers, TVs, or any liquid or yard waste. Doors on white goods must be securely fastened or removed.
If you need help getting your items to the light plant, a couple of churches have volunteered to help. Call City Hall at 618-643-2723 and ask to be put on the pickup list. You will need to provide your name, address, phone number and what assistance you need. Your information will be sent to the volunteers.
Proof of residency may be required when you are dropping off items.
