CARMI – A Carmi woman was arrested on drug charges after Carmi Police found illegal drugs in her vehicle that she was sleeping in behind the wheel at First Mid Bank early Thursday morning.
Police made contact with 32-year-old Kelsie M. Collard and saw the pills in plain view. An investigation found the pills were a Schedule 4 controlled substance. She was arrested and a probable cause search of her vehicle was conducted. Police found meth, a meth pipe and cannabis in the vehicle. The vehicle was towed and Collard was taken to the White County Jail.
Collard is charged with Unlawful Use of Property, Possession of Methamphetamine, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance Possession of Cannabis by Driver and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
