Suspect Sought in Port-a-Potty Fire at Sesser City Park

SESSER – A port-a-potty was set on fire Saturday at the Sesser City Park, and police need your help finding who’s responsible in this incident and other vandalism at the park.
According to Sesser Police, the fire was set between 5 and 6 p.m. Saturday. The suspect is described as a white male, possibly a teenager, wearing a maroon hoodie, shorts and black socks.
In a social media post, the City says there has been an increase of vandalism at the park, and asks anyone with information to contact Franklin County Central Dispatch at 618-724-2424 and ask to speak to a Sesser Police officer.
