METROPOLIS – A Joppa man has been charged for taking some prescription medication from a home he was repairing in Metropolis Friday.
According to Metropolis Police, officers responded to the home in the 2000 block of Greenview Avenue. When they arrived, the victim said they had contractors doing repairs on the home while they were out of town.
A video showed one of the employees taking some prescription medication out of the home. The offender was identified as 22-year-old Jonathan M. Schueler of Joppa.
Schueler’s boss was contacted in an effort to track down Schueler. Schueler was eventually contacted and met with Metropolis officers at the police department and interviewed.
Schueler was charged with Unauthorized Possession of Prescription Medication and released on a notice to appear.
